Jordan and his exceptional team truly go above and beyond from start to finish! During our pre-wedding zoom meetings, Jordan walked us through the entire process answering any and all questions that we had. The online portal was very easy to use and helpful, and most importantly Jordan was so accommodating to all of our little and last minute changes leading up to the wedding.

I have never been to a wedding before where people were dancing the entire night start to finish, and am in awe that it happened at ours! Jordan is such an incredible MC, making sure guests of all ages were engaged and moving the whole night. His contagious and fun energy set the tone for the night, the people did not stop having fun! His flow and announcing was perfect, seamlessly transitioning all parts of the wedding.

PRO-TIP: Get the photo booth! It was an absolute hit and there was a line to take pictures the entire night. Guests loved how the pictures were instantly sent to their phones and best of all you will get sent a copy of every picture taken to help relieve your special night!

We cannot recommend Jordan and Marylands DJ enough--if you are looking for the wedding of your dreams look no further! These guys are the real deal!

Working with Steve was an absolute dream. When we started out planning, we knew that the music would be the most important factor of our wedding for us, and Steve exceeded our expectations with the most incredible DJ set for our wedding reception. He listened to what we wanted, worked with our requests and elevated the music to the point where people are still talking about the playlist and asking us to send it to them. I would recommend Steve to ANYONE but especially for those couples who are particular about their music! We'll be recommending him to friends for all future weddings not just because he's fantastic, but because we selfishly want to participate in another Steve dance party!

I am a professional wedding photographer of over a decade and Jordan and Maryland’s DJ have been at the top of my recommended list since we first worked together nearly 10 years ago. The entire team is professional and top notch at what they do. With Maryland’s DJ I can assure not only that the event will go smoothly logistically, but also that I’m working with an amazing team making things easier for me. But most importantly, they pack the dance floor from start to finish, every time. If you want a party to remember, you want Maryland’s DJ.

Everyone at MD's DJ was so great to work with! Taylor helped with scheduling and coordination, and she was so responsive, kind, and a joy to work with! DJ Steve was originally supposed to do our wedding and he produces music as well as DJing, so when I brought him a first dance song that I loved but felt too long, he helped me rework it keeping all of the sentimental parts while trimming it down to a reasonable time. He is so great! Something came up and he couldn't make it to our event, so DJ Scott stepped in and was so great! Every song he played was met with cheers and our guests RAVED about him. He kept the dance floor full all night and everyone had so much fun!! Highly recommend Marylands DJ!!!

Maryland's DJ was so great to work with--very responsive and thorough in answering all of our initial questions. We especially loved that we could include a photobooth and uplighting with our entertainment package!

And we'll add to the chorus of rave reviews for DJ Mike Q! He kept the dance floor PACKED and truly everyone had a great time--from our millenial friends all the way up to our 90 year old grandparents! Mike incorporated all of our requests, both songs and different special dances. He even communicated with us about a couple of plan changes we wanted to make just that day, and made it all run seamlessly. It was such a perfect, celebratory, and very "us" dance party! Marylands DJ were great to work with, especially our DJ, DJ Mike Q! We loved the process and portal that Marylands DJ provided. It was easy to select the songs we wanted. DJ Mike Q was responsive throughout the months leading up to the wedding and we had a final walkthrough a few weeks prior where we talked through more of the details. On the day of, DJ Mike Q kept everything running smoothly and was flexible, changing things where needed and working with our coordinator to switch up the timeline based on how the event was going. We're very happy we selected Maryland's DJ for our wedding!

From the interview and booking experience early on, to the online portal and various check in meetings, we were confident Maryland's DJ would do a great job. And on the day of the wedding, they nailed it. Steve H was amazing as an emcee and DJ; he kept things flowing smoothly throughout the night, and all of our guests kept telling us how great the music was. We would definitely recommend the photo booth and lighting packages as well. A great experience all around.

Jordan was the best DJ we could've hoped for at our wedding! He was super responsive in the planning stages ahead of the big day, and was quick to accommodate all of our crazy last minute changes. One of the most important things for us was that it was not "his show." He played great music during our cocktail hour, during dinner, and slayed it with the dance floor music, and he was also a great MC throughout the evening who highlighted the speakers without being too distracting. We are absolutely thrilled with his service, and are trying to figure out what parties we can throw with him in the future!

The wedding was AMAZING! Brian did a phenomenal job picking songs off the must play list that kept people dancing. We got great feedback on the song choices and he clearly listened to us when we were discussing volume/ the Horah. Tyler and I were worried about music too loud; Brian did a wonderful job with that. On the dance floor, we could hear everything fine and by the tables we could talk at a good level! Moreover, for the Horah we asked for the moms/ dads to be lifted together and he did that, too. No complaints! During the ceremony and introductions he played all the correct songs, too! :D

In conclusion, we were thrilled with the services and glad I asked my friend for her DJ company from her wedding in September of 2023. We will be recommending y'all!

I don’t even know where to start. Steve undoubtedly made our wedding night the amazing party that it was. My husband and I have a wide variety when it comes to taste in music. Steve found a way to play everything we wanted at the perfect time. They’re planning portal made it super easy to make sure Steve knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t want played.

When it came time to dancing, I don’t think there was ever a time that the dance floor was empty. I still don’t have a voice from all the singing we did. Everyone keeps telling us that it was the most fun they’ve had in a long time and that Steve was the best DJ! He even got my dad to dance which If you knew him, you’d know is no small feat.

All in all, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the party we dreamed of- all thanks to Steve and Maryland’s DJ.

Maryland’s DJ was INCREDIBLE. Before our event, there was really good communication from everyone on the team, including the automated reminder emails, personal emails, and our original intake. We really liked that we had so many options of DJs to choose from, too. We also really liked the portal and how we could sort through/choose songs in there. Neil, who actually worked our event, was the absolute best. He met with us several times to make sure things were just right. He matched our vibe and kept people on the dance floor throughout the night. The transitions between songs were awesome. He was a guiding presence to the guests and kept the spotlight on us. People said music was one of the best parts of our wedding. Can’t recommend Maryland’s DJ enough!

We cannot say enough great things about DJ Steve! From the moment we connected, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He truly listened to our vision for the wedding and brought it to life with his amazing DJ skills. Steve perfectly set the tone for every part of the evening. During the cocktail hour, he played timeless classics by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, creating an elegant and classic vibe. As dinner began, he transitioned seamlessly into some lively swing music, which added so much energy to the room. When it was time to party, Steve wen through the decades, playing all the hits from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s. We sang and danced our hearts out to all of our favorites. He read the crowd perfectly, and the dance floor was packed all night long! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had and how sore they were from all the dancing, and we owe so much of that to Steve’s ability to keep the energy going all night. People only really took breaks to grab another drink. Thank you Steve for being such a pleasure to work with and for making our special day so incredible!!

Our wedding day could not have been any more amazing than what your team created for us! The night felt so special and customized to fit us and our needs perfectly. Everyone on the team was sooo extremely kind and genuine and you could tell they love what they do and are truly excited to be a part of your big day! They put in extra effort, and thought and care into every single step and communicated everything with us very professionally! We could not have asked for better, more caring people to help make our day go so smoothly and will always remember your kindness, humor, and professionalism! Maryland’s DJ was the absolute best! They were extremely responsive, personable, and easy to work with. Taylor was extremely on top of things and very responsive. Brian our DJ truly listened and made our party flow and really banged out some tunes! Exactly what we had wanted! He kept our reception moving after getting behind due to a transportation issue which delayed the wedding. He was able to readjust and make sure the essentials happened, and happened well! It was the best dance party! Our only regret was that we didn’t get to experience it longer due to the timeline delay! But thank you Brian and Maryland’s DJ for helping make our wedding extremely memorable and the most special day! We would definitely recommend you!

Maryland DJs, and specifically DJ Steve were great to work with! Steve was very helpful in our planning process and then made sure our Wedding day ran smoothly, stayed on schedule, and was a blast! He was very easy to work with and set up meetings with and took the time to get to know us as a couple and that translated to everyone staying out on the dance floor all night. Maryland's DJ was excellent throughout the entire wedding process. They were flexible and helped us with our every need. Our wedding day ran smoothly from the ceremony until the party ended. Our DJ Jesse was extremely prepared for all the chaos that was thrown at him as we added speeches and certain songs the day of the wedding. He kept the party rocking the whole time and was excellent. Ultimately, we had an awesome time and couldn't have done so without the help of Jordan and Jesse at Maryland's DJ.

We couldn't be happier to have Maryland's DJ at our wedding reception. In the beginning, Jordan helped guide us through their offerings to help us select the best options for our big day. The photo booth and lighting we selected were great additions to the venue - the photo booth was a star of the night. Their online system to input details and choose songs was easy to use and much appreciated. Then we worked closely with Mike Q on the details for the night itself - event schedule, song lists, introductions, etc. Simply put: Mike Q rocked our reception! He played the songs we requested and filled the rest of the evening with songs that matched with our vibe. He had a great pulse on the crowd and knew when to switch up to play some of the slow dances we requested. Our guests were thrilled and were dancing the entire night - we had multiple people tell us afterwards specifically that we had a great DJ. All in all, I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ and specifically Mike Q to make sure you have a great wedding reception.

Our experience with Maryland’s DJ was incredible from the beginning! We met with a rep virtually who led us through an extensive presentation of all they had to offer. He asked us about our vibe and matched us with one of their DJs accordingly. Then we met with our DJ Jamaal. They have an awesome portal where you add in all of your music requests, even when to fade out, etc. We had a meeting with Jamaal a month out and he was very flexible with all of our last minute changes. We 100% recommend Maryland’s DJ for anyone looking for a fun, professional, company to work with.

Jordan does amazing work! He knew when the time was to play certain songs and once the party started it never stopped! The way he has his program set up makes it so easy to customize and to keep track of everything that’s going by having everything detailed down to the smallest thing. He made it really simple and hassle free which is what we really needed. If you need someone in charge of your party and to make sure you and your guest have a great time, hire Jordan!

We had an amazing experience with Maryland's DJ! John and Laz did a great job of keeping the momentum going and the party didn't lose energy once which was important to us. We have gotten SO many compliments from guests about the DJing, everyone loved them and had a fantastic time. We also were so pleased with the photo booth (which we initially considered not getting), our guests really loved it and the photos were very high-quality -- as the bride I actually wish I took more!

We worked with Mike Q and had the most amazing experience. We told him our highest priority was to never have a lull in the dance floor and he absolutely delivered. Our guests were dancing all night long and everyone told us how amazing the DJ was. We had a crowd of all different ages and he did a great job of mixing in songs for everyone. We also talked about him playing songs fast and not staying on one song for too long, and he did this better than I could have imagined and he got through every song I wanted to hear and was able to take requests as well from our guests. Even the people in the bar below us were asking who our DJ was and said he was the best they have ever heard at the venue. He was also so professional and we loved working with him. Thank you so much Mike!!! Next time we need a DJ we will 1000% book him again, and you should too!

Having Jordan as our wedding DJ was an absolute delight. The first time we ever spoke to Jordan, it was for close to an hour as he laid out his experience as a DJ, particularly with weddings, and answered all of our questions about why we should consider hiring him. Since that initial interview, Jordan was always available to us via phone, text, or email, often responding within the hour, and was happy to answer the most trivial of questions that we had.

Jordan prepared thoroughly before the wedding, sending us a detailed questionnaire, schedule, and song list to complete, to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. And we met via video chat a couple weeks before the wedding just to talk everything over and iron out any remaining details.

At the wedding itself, Jordan was terrific. He arrived early. He coordinated with our other vendors and the staff at the venue to set up his equipment so that we weren't disturbed. He made introductions, provided announcements, and, of course, kept the dance floor grooving for the entire night. Not to mention, the photo booth that we reserved through Maryland's DJ was a massive hit with our guests! Everything unfolded seamlessly

On top of all the things I mentioned above, Jordan is quite simply a genuine, friendly, and easygoing person. My wife and I liked talking to and interacting with him. He made our lives a little less hectic while planning a wedding in the midst of the ongoing pandemic: no small feat.

We are so happy we worked with Maryland’s DJ for our September 2023 wedding. They were extremely responsive and offered insight/suggestions when asked. Steve Hartka was our DJ and he was outstanding. The dance floor was packed the entire reception! Multiple guests told us how great our music was and they couldn’t believe they danced the entire reception. We are so happy with our experience and definitely recommend this company to any couple who wants to have a packed dance floor!

DJ Mebaa is way too good at his job. During the planning stages, he made sure to check in with helpful reminders, and he was great at meeting us where we are and walking us along the process. He took note of not only the songs we wanted for our wedding day but generally what kind of music we liked and the moods we were trying to set. On the day of, he was completely professional—arrived on time, checked in to make sure we were good, and always flexible and accommodating. He went the extra mile to coordinate with the other vendors and help out where he could, even if it was beyond what we expected from him. And greatest of all, he had EVERYONE on the dance floor for the whole time. We couldn’t have thrown this smooth of an event and this great of a party without him.

Brian Doane was our DJ for our November wedding at Chesapeake Bay Foundation. In my opinion this venue can be one of the more difficult ones to navigate for music because there are many location possibilities for the ceremony to take place. Brian was so easy going and awesome to work with from start to finish. We had some music requests but he did a great job feeling out the crowd and kept the party moving all night! I don’t think our dance floor was empty the whole reception! He is a great friend and awesome DJ. I would recommend him for any event!

I am so thankful to Steve and his team at Maryland's DJ for absolutely bringing the party!! There are so many details that need the brides attention but he knew exactly what to do and totally understood what we were going for. His calls where detailed and helpful and professional which is more than I can say for some other vendors. I loved my wedding and spent the whole evening on a PACKED dance floor because of this man. He also did audio for our ceremony and was very helpful making sure everyone could hear even at an outside event. I cannot say enough about how great he is.

Maryland's DJ, specifically Jordan, was the BEST DJ we could have ever pictured for our wedding. He was recommended to me by a relative who is also in the wedding business (so she knows her stuff) and he did NOT disappoint. Especially during this unprecedented time of this ongoing pandemic, he made our wedding a priority. He was responsive immediately to any type of correspondence I had with him, went above and beyond to help us plan our music list and ceremony details. We had a wide range of guests at our wedding, and he picked the perfect mix of music to allow for a good time had by everyone. We cannot thank you enough, Jordan!!

I couldn’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ. The entire process was simple. The first thing we did was a phone call with Jordan who was super sweet and really listened to what we wanted. I had known DJ Ryan Carr previously and found that he worked with Maryland’s DJ so I had asked if we could request him. Thankfully he was available and then a second call was set up for us to meet with the DJ and get a little more specific as to what we wanted. They also provide a website that you fill out timeline forms and music playlists at your pace. The website was really cool because we got to organize songs in categories such as must play, please try to play and absolutely do not play. This really helped solidify what vibes we wanted. Personally we picked maybe a total of 10 songs for this entire playlist as we wanted the DJ to do his thing. Come the wedding, DJ Ryan C and MC Rob were amazing! All of our family was dancing at some point and loved the energy they both brought. The MC was on the dance floor dancing with my cousins and really made the event such a good time. We also rented their photo booth which was an awesome addition. Everyone in the family loved this, including grandmoms! There is no doubt in my mind that I would book with them again for any event!

It was a very organized process and I felt super cared for from the start! We were lucky enough to have Harvey as our DJ and he exceeded all of our expectations!! There was clear communication within the days leading up and then the actual wedding was a dream! The music was awesome and Maryland’s DJ and Harvey were incredible to work with! We had an amazing time and Steve was an incredible DJ. We had a good feeling about him from our very first meeting, but he really pulled it all together for a great event. We know he was supposed to have some help, which unfortunately fell through, but we honestly had no idea until after the party. Steve went above and beyond and made it a very special event. He made us the center of attention, he had a perfect playlist, and mixed in our requests as well. We honestly can’t think of anything that didn’t go perfectly with Steve.

On a scale of 1-10, Steve was a true 11. Throughout the entire process he was communicative, attentive, and understood our vision.

If you’re looking for a DJ who will have your guests dancing the whole night - look no further. They will have your guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night and know how to read the room. They are super professional and we had great communication the entire planning process. The portal was a huge bonus because it really gave the DJ an idea of the songs you want played and to truly customize it to your liking. My wife and I got married March 2020 and STILL have guests talking about how fun the wedding was and the music was 100% the reason.

Also, all negative reviews are from the same family disgruntled because they had to abide by a contract. (All dated same time)

Maryland's DJ was a great pick for our event. Having the opportunity to do DJ and photobooth on one contract was so convenient, and the way they manage the contract and let you stay involved in all the music choices is just what we needed. You can be as in depth or relaxed as you want, the team will take the time to get to know you and your partner's needs so they can give you exactly what you want.

We had an unusual situation with our original DJ (Jordan) having a baby just a few weeks before the wedding, but he passed us off to his cohort (Steve) who did a great job for being introduced to us last minute. The planning sheet process helped exponentially with that I think, because all the important music choices were already on paper for him. What we had on the day of was great music and a good time we'll remember for years to come, even if it was during a pandemic!

Marylands DJ is the absolute best. From start to finish, they were so organized and professional, and made us feel confident we hired the perfect people for entertaining our guests on our wedding day. Steve Hartka was our DJ and he truly was incredible. He took the time to work with us leading up to the wedding to understand the vibe we were going for, help us with logistics for the ceremony, reception announcements and flow of the evening, and so much more. He had all our guests on the dance floor from the minute it opened up until the end of the night - no one wanted the night to end!! People still rave about how amazing he was months after our wedding. It truly was everything we wanted in a party to celebrate our special day and we could not recommended both Steve and Maryland’s DJ enough!!

Truly the BEST! Steve was incredible! He worked with us to make an epic dance list that kept our guests dancing all night (including bride's favorite's like Ultimate from Freaky Friday, Miracles Happen from Princess Diaries!, and Year 3000!) - every DCOM child's dreams! He was able to read the dance floor and adjust accordingly - giving all his efforts and talents - not just picking a list a running with it! It was a blast! He even came to our after-party and chowed down on pizza with us! A fun guy all around and planning to attend his many other events around Baltimore!

Awesome DJ experience from beginning to end. When considering all the different vendors for our wedding, we knew to have a great DJ was important to us. We inquired with quite a few but when we met Jordan, the decision was easy. The entire process was smooth and made us less stressed for our big day. We loved the demo provided before we signed the contract as well as the online portal that made it easy to provide our preferences. Jordan provided great input to help us decide which songs we wanted and when. He helped us figure out the entire flow of the wedding. We also got our lighting from Jordan and it looked great and we were able to see the color and options ahead of time. And of course, probably most important, the day of the wedding everything was amazing. All of the guests were out on the dance floor and had a fantastic time. Can't say enough great things about our experience!

Jesse was hands down the best DJ we’ve ever worked with. He did our wedding. He didn’t just press play on a playlist and let it go. We discussed our vision for the night and he executed perfectly. He read the crowd, played the songs he could see people were singing along and dancing too, and kept the dance floor packed all night. He’s also clearly very experienced with the flow of weddings as well, so helped us with our timeline for the night. If you’re looking for a DJ that will ensure the night goes exactly how you want it to, this is your guy. We were so impressed at the way he took everything we said we wanted in our wedding and made it happen.

I cannot say enough great things about Maryland DJs, Steve specifically. From the moment we met the owner Jordan, we knew we were in great hands. DJ Steve was incredible, everyone at our wedding commented on how great the music was and as the bride, I found it hard to leave the dance floor. Jordan from Maryland’s DJ just did our wedding reception and we couldn’t be happier with his services. From the beginning of working with him in the planning stages he was professional, easy to contact and very helpful in listening to what we wanted, making suggestions and putting it all together into an excellent performance.

The day of the wedding he was on time, set-up and ready to rock the house. He is an excellent MC helping the wedding run smoothly and keeping the night on track. When it came time to open the dance floor he is unbelievable at creating an energy in the room and keeping it going, reading the crowd and keeping the party lively. Jordan is AWESOME! We had 185 people at our wedding and he handled the crowd with ease. He kept the intros/ and beginning dances on scheduled and got the dance floor rolling right on time. Once we opened the dance floor he had the whole party dancing all night from teenagers to grandparents (even my 82 year old grandma was on the floor dancing to everything from Michael Buble to David Guetta). He played all of the music we requested and added mashup versions to others that were great. DJ Steve from Maryland’s DJ provided music and lights for our event and was incredible! The lighting was perfect for the venue and really brought our vision to life. The music was on point all evening, and we really appreciated how willing Steve was to make announcements on the fly and to just go find out answers to questions so we didn’t have to stress. The guests had a great time dancing and so did we! We 100% recommend Steve and Maryland’s DJ for your wedding or other event!

Mike Q is AMAZING! Our wedding was SO fun! His MC skills, not to mention his music choices and playlist, are absolutely perfect! He got to know us and played the perfect music, all of our family wants to steal the playlist now! He kept the dancing going all night, he checked in with us so thoughtfully and coordinated throughout our reception to keep us on track, and he’s the nicest person! He made sure the night was about us, he’s such a professional. Mike Q collaborated with all our vendors and they love him too! He also made the planning process so easy! We cannot recommend him enough, I would give him 100 stars!

Steve was THE BEST DJ a bride could ask for. He was professional and laid back. He seemed to know exactly what my husband and I were looking for in terms of vibe - he was excellent at moving the night along naturally and matching the music with the mood. Steve totally went with the flow- communicating effectively and calmly with other vendors, moved between two booths seamlessly and without prior notice, not to mention he stayed late to keep the party going! I was also extremely impressed with Taylor's communication and coordination. She helped me figure out the logistics and made me feel completely confident that everything was taken care of. Maryland's DJ absolutely nailed our wedding, no other way to describe it.  DJ Mebaa stepped in to DJ our ceremony and reception as a last minute change in plans; my wife and I felt supported and in good hands the whole time as a result of Maryland's DJ's planning and attention to detail.

Mebaa, with only a few days notice, played all ceremony songs perfectly, timing choruses/special parts of songs perfectly with the arrival of the wedding party/the bride as they walked down the aisle.

The reception was an all out blast - Mebaa read the room perfectly, following one banger with another and keeping jaws dropped the whole night with great songs.  He also surprised my wife and I with a special last song dance to a song that we adored.

I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ, and Mebaa specifically.  They made our special day the best it possibly could be, and know how to please their clients, no matter what circumstances arise.  Aside from my wife and I, we had almost everyone we interacted with on the dance floor comment on how good the DJ music and service was - we are so glad we went with DJ over live band!

For my fiancé and I, dancing the night away was one of our top priorities for our wedding, and Maryland’s DJ delivered. We started out the process with them with Jordan assigned as our DJ, and when a scheduling conflict came up, they were quick to resolve the issue and let us know that Brian was available for our date. He was able to read the dance floor and adjust accordingly - giving all his efforts and talents - not just picking a list a running with it! It was a blast! He even came to our after-party and chowed down on pizza with us! A fun guy all around and planning to attend his many other events around Baltimore!

Had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Brian and Maryland's DJ! They have several DJ's in their company which I appreciated, the first meeting was seeing what kind of music we wanted played and what the vibes of the day we were looking for. We spoke with Andrew and he helped us figure out who would be the best match for us and he nailed it with us having DJ Brian! Everyone at the wedding said they had so much fun and everyone was dancing the night away. I think he did a great job of taking requests and playing what we wanted. They have a whole form and website to help layout the day and potential music suggestions which was incredibly helpful!! I do not have one single negative comment about them. I am so thankful that he was able to keep everyone dancing and giving the range of music everyone wanted and could relate to. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for a DJ!!

Jordan and the team at Maryland's DJ were incredible to work with and elevated our special day beyond anything we could hope for. From their online portal that helped us to map out and plan our music to the meetings and check-ins to the actual day of, they left nothing to chance and provided an amazing experience at each step. Jordan was a phenomenal DJ and Emcee, providing the sound track and flow of events for the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend Jordan enough!
