Awesome DJ experience from beginning to end. When considering all the different vendors for our wedding, we knew to have a great DJ was essential to us. We inquired with quite a few but when we met Jordan, the decision was easy. The entire process was smooth and made us less stressed for our big day. We loved the demo provided before we signed the contract as well as the online portal that made it easy to provide our preferences. Jordan provided great input to help us decide which songs we wanted and when. He helped us figure out the entire flow of the wedding. We also got our lighting from Jordan and it looked great and we were able to see the color and options ahead of time. And of course, probably most important, the day of the wedding everything was amazing. All of the guests were out on the dance floor and had a fantastic time. Can't say enough great things about our experience!
We had such a phenomenal time, all thanks to Jordan! He was incredibly attentive all throughout the planning process and helped ensure that the big day went off without any issues. While we provided input on music selection (must play, like to play, and dont ever play), he knew exactly how to read a room and expertly navigated us through the evening. If I could do it over, I wouldnt change a thing. He is amazing and I cannot recommend him enough!
From the interview and booking experience early on, to the online portal and various check in meetings, we were confident Maryland's DJ would do a great job. And on the day of the wedding, they nailed it. Steve H was amazing as an emcee and DJ; he kept things flowing smoothly throughout the night, and all of our guests kept telling us how great the music was. Jordan is beyond amazing and is truly one of the best DJs I think I've ever come across. I met him years ago when he was just starting out and remembered him being good. I kept his info because I thought maybe one day I would have a need for a DJ? Fast forward 5 years later, I got engaged and he was the first person who came to mind when we deciced to go with a DJ instead of a band. My now husband and I went to meet with him and to get a preview of what he could do and both of us were blown away. We signed our contract that same day. The entire year and a half we were engaged, I was constantly telling people how excited I was about our DJ and how I knew he would make our wedding one of the best parties our guests had ever been to. Our big day finally arrived and Jordan totally delivered. From ceremony into late-night, he knew exactly what we wanted and nailed it. At the reception we pretty much gave him the freedom to play what he thought would keep the party going and he kept it classy but oh so fun! Book him, you won't be disappointed.

We had an absolutely fantastic time working with Maryland DJ! We got married this past weekend and had about 140 guests in attendance. We worked with DJ Neil, and he was an absolute professional throughout the day.
Our ceremony went on without a hitch, even with our family friend playing the keyboard at our outside ceremony space with support from Neil. He executed any announcements that we had flawlessly and made sure all of our guests knew exactly what was going on throughout the evening.
When it came to the dance floor, Neil knew exactly how to keep the party going. I am very particular about the music played on the dance floor, and Neil took my playlist and really made it into his own. I felt that all the songs that I wanted to hear were played, and Neil masterfully read the room and played songs that he knew would elevate it to the next level. The dance floor was completely full the entire time, it was truly a wonderful experience.

Our wedding reception with Ryan as our DJ was absolutely perfect. He was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and communicative with us in the weeks leading up to the event, he was thorough in his timeline and realistic about possible time restrictions for our unique requests, and he was committed to correctly presenting introductions, toasts, etc. Besides his competent organization and professionalism, where Ryan truly impressed us was the night's playlist itself. We had submitted a large library of songs we wanted to hear and discussed our particular tastes with him, and his ability to take those wishes and translate them into a dance party was unparalleled. He hit all of our most important notes (I firmly believe that every wedding needs "Tubthumping") and impressed a multi-generational guest list with selections from the 70s and 80s, seamlessly transitioning to modern hits. He consistently responded to the crowd's energy and had us dancing our asses off from the moment the dance party started to the very end of the night. Our guests are still raving about some of his inventive mixes (Ask him about his mashup of "Feel Good Inc." and "Toxic", or his Backstreet Boys medley intercut with "Turn Down For What). Ryan surpassed all of our expectations and was integral to what was easily the best night of our lives.
Brian and the whole team was AMAZING! All of my guests kept asking who my DJ was, because “he’s the best DJ ever.” Totally sensed the vibe and kept the party going for hours, no matter what! Hire these guys!!!
Brian was the best DJ!! We loved all the song choices and remixes and the transitions were amazing too! Everyone at the wedding was raving about how good the DJ was and we couldn’t have imagined a better dance floor. We picked some songs but then also told Brian to just keep people on the dance floor and he definitely delivered. Even the parents and aunts and uncles were dancing most of the night! Our only regret was not having more time for dancing!

Jordan was an excellent DJ for our wedding. Leading up to the big day, we met with him several times to work on what music we like and the format of our reception. On the big day, he transitioned so well between the cocktail hour, intros, dining and dancing. Everything flowed so well. Our guests never stopped dancing throughout. We could not have been happier and would definitely recommend/ use Jordan again for an event!
DJ Mebaa is way too good at his job. During the planning stages, he made sure to check in with helpful reminders, and he was great at meeting us where we are and walking us along the process. He took note of not only the songs we wanted for our wedding day but generally what kind of music we liked and the moods we were trying to set. On the day of, he was completely professional—arrived on time, checked in to make sure we were good, and always flexible and accommodating. He went the extra mile to coordinate with the other vendors and help out where he could, even if it was beyond what we expected from him. And greatest of all, he had EVERYONE on the dance floor for the whole time. We couldn’t have thrown this smooth of an event and this great of a party without him.
Through the multiple covid rescheduling, Jordan ensured the entire process was stress free! The planning portal is great to layout all the details, but leave it to Jordan to bring the fun!! We had a blast through the entire process.

I am biased since it was my wedding but I haven't been to another wedding where the dance floor was packed the whole entire time! My fiancé and I were both always said booking a good dj is one of the most important things when it comes to weddings. Steve was AMAZING. From the very beginning he was so kind and helpful. On the day of the wedding I had not one doubt that he would have the dance floor packed, and that just what he did!

Picking our songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing was easy with Jordan’s platform. I felt like after Jordan looked at our song choices, he knew exactly what to play all night. Jordan read the crowd and knew exactly what to play next to keep the party going. He did a fabulous job MC-ing the reception, keeping the event on-track throughout and organizing the crowd for our sparkler send off also without coming across as at all “cheesy”. He also handled a special request for my daughter singing an Adele song just right– miking her, loading her background track and allowing her to run through it once before the reception began. Maryland's DJ was super easy to work with. They setup a call with us to determine our style and then another meeting with a DJ who fit is best. We worked with DJ Brian. Brian was great! He got everyone up and dancing and really hit the vibe. They also offer an extremely user friendly website to help the couple plan their songs from ceremony into the reception. Highly recommend!!!
DJ Steve provided excellent service at our wedding recently. It started out a bit rocky when our classical guitarist didn't show in time for the ceremony... Fortunately, Steve and our wedding planner improvised and get the appropriate music queued-up in time for us to walk down the aisle (phew!). Steve also honored our wishes by playing many of the songs we requested through our planner. Despite us not having a chance to coordinate directly beforehand, he did a solid job choosing when to play each song (dinner, reception, etc.). Several guests requested his business card that night. Highly recommended.
Our photographer referred us to Jordan and we couldn’t be happier that she did! He was extremely helpful and always there when we had any questions, especially with having to change our date due to COVID. The lighting was absolutely amazing and the photo booth was a complete hit. I don’t think there was a single moment the dance floor was empty once dinner was over, besides the cake cutting. Jordan covered a lot of genres of music so there was a little bit of everything for everyone in attendance. The night flowed seamlessly and we knew we were in good hands throughout!

Jesse was the absolute best DJ we have ever had the pleasure of partying with. He didn’t just press play on a playlist and let it go. The entire Marylands DJ team was kind and professional, and their whole process was very streamlined and detail-oriented! Their forms and online platform made it easy to plan music selections and figure out timelines. We had a micro wedding of about 40 guests, and our DJ Mike was awesome... he was able to identify our tastes in music and catered playlists to them. He was able to find this awesome balance of keeping the party going but not going "overboard" since it was a smaller wedding. I would highly recommend Marylands DJ!!!

Working with Maryland’s DJ was an absolutely amazing experience throughout the course of our wedding planning journey. From the minute that we first contacted them, Jordan and Mike were extremely professional, attentive, and best of all- FUN! Their online portal was a great tool, allowing us to quickly and easily plan everything from song lists to lighting schemes for our wedding ceremony and reception. During the course of the wedding evening, DJ Mike did a fantastic job of making announcements to keep the party flowing and playing songs that kept feet on the dance floor. We received many compliments regarding the mix of lighting and music that DJ Mike provided throughout the night, and they were absolutely correct. Our venue (Baltimore Museum of Art) included large rooms with high ceilings, but Mike did a fantastic job of lighting them and controlling the acoustics. We can’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area!

He had the air of a professional who would be able to pull off any requests we threw at him, and this level of confidence was very reassuring. We couldn't be happier to have Maryland's DJ at our wedding reception. In the beginning, Jordan helped guide us through their offerings to help us select the best options for our big day. The photo booth and lighting we selected were great additions to the venue - the photo booth was the real star of the night. Their online system to input details and choose songs was easy to use and much appreciated. Then we worked closely with Mike Q on the details for the night itself - event schedule, song lists, introductions, etc. Simply put: Mike Q rocked our reception! He played the songs we requested and filled the rest of the evening with songs that matched with our vibe. He had a great pulse on the crowd and knew when to switch up to play some of the slow dances we requested. Our guests were thrilled and were dancing the entire night - we had multiple people tell us afterwards specifically that we had a great DJ. All in all, I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ and specifically Mike Q to make sure you have a great wedding reception.
Jordan is a close friend of my husband Andy's. Andy is a DJ himself and giving up this role that he takes pride in was hard for him. I don't think we could have felt more comfortable leaving our special day in anyone else's hands. Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. Our wedding went until 1am and one of my biggest fears was that people would leave early, did some leave earlier in the night yes, however, 1am came and our dance floor was filled!!!!

I really don’t even know where to start. We have not stopped receiving messages from friends and family about how much of a blast they had. Jordan was absolutely incredible, his demo meetings were some of the most helpful we had throughout this season whole process, his online portal was such a great tool to have while planning. One of the best decisions we made throughout this whole process, our wedding was a blast. One thing he will definitely make sure of is that your wedding truly feels like yours. I am a wedding photographer and worked with DJ Brian Doane for a wedding last weekend and was very impressed. Not only with his professionalism but with how he made all the guests feel along with myself! As a Dj, it’s so important to have a good personality who is outgoing and gets the crowd excited. Without a good Dj, receptions aren’t a good time and this was definitely a GREAT time! Brian was super easy to work with and we made sure to keep each other prepared as they day unfolded! It’s one thing to read reviews from clients, but it’s another thing reading reviews from vendors as we see work with ALOT of different vendors and know who does a good job and who doesn’t with everything on the backend that a lot of brides and grooms don’t see. When we first met with Jordan he spent a lot of time with us to help get to know us and what we were looking for, for our wedding. He then did a demo for us, and we were sold. The day of the wedding made me even more happy to have booked Jordan. Not only did Jordan get our reception started, he kept it going all night long. Our guests were literally on the dance floor the entire night long and having a blast! Throughout the reception Jordan checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay and see if we needed anything. Everytime we see guests from our wedding they still rave about Jordan and how much fun they had at our reception. If we were to do our wedding all over again, we would book Jordan in a heartbeat.

Jesse is an amazing DJ! He was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend and kept the dance floor packed the entire night! We have received so many positive compliments from our guests, even those who are DJs themselves. He took the time to check in with us several times throughout the night to make sure things were going well and adjusted the set list to fit in seamlessly with how the event was progressing. We even had a few unique requests that he had no issue with incorporating. We can't thank him enough for his professionalism, positive demeanor, and impressive skills as a DJ. Maryland DJ was perfect for our wedding. Steve Hartka was able to video chat with us int he heart of covid to describe how Maryland DJ works and how his personal style fits within. We immediately connected with Steve when we saw the Gorillas Album int he background and we were impressed by how prepared he was from the start. It was so easy to work with Steve. He came to the walk through of the venue with our vendors and coordinator and was able to understand his three stations, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception set up areas. The form that we used to curate special touches, songs, dances, announcements, etc. made it easy to optimize our perfect day. I literally didn't leave the floor after a certain hour of visiting with friends and family. 10/10 would recommend

We had the pleasure of having Mike "Q" DJ our wedding and we could not be more pleased. The whole process was seamless (even with our *slight* procrastination) and their online system was very easy to use. Mike "Q" on the wedding day was amazing. Jordan and the team have been super flexible and helpful during the craziness of COVID rescheduling our big event. They have been super responsive as we have reached out with questions. Aside from everything going on at the moment, they make planning the music and getting to know what we will want to hear at our wedding so easy with the technology available to customers. Hiring Maryland's DJ was the best decision we made. From the beginning, it was easy to use the portal to help us stay organized and we loved being able to make our own playlist. Jamaal was attentive to our needs during our meetings and did a wonderful job on our wedding day! He played all of the songs we wanted and could read the room to know what genre of song to play next. We added dancing on a cloud to our first dance and our guests are still talking about what a spectacular it was. Maryland's DJ kept the party going, and I would highly recommend using them when considering a DJ for your next event!
DJ Neil Feldman was an amazing DJ! We had multiple video calls with him to square everything away for the wedding schedule. He was extremely professional and responsive before and during the wedding. I loved that DJ Neil didn’t play just a simple sound track of “Must Play” songs. He took our style of music and the vibe of the wedding and played everything that fit and kept people on the dance floor. He even took 1 of our favorite songs and mashed it with another one…my wife and I both looked at each other and smiled as soon as we realized the 2 songs and how well they flowed together.
I would hands down recommend MD DJ’s to anyone getting married that wants to have a good time and dance the night away.

DJ Brian was amazing. About a month before the third planned wedding was to take place, we found ourselves without music for the day (#thankscovid). A friend of a friend has worked with Jordan, recommended him, and within 20 minutes, we had a scheduled phone call to work out details with our unique wedding day. I’ve been two 3 weddings done by Maryland’s DJ and each one including my own have been absolute blasts. I had the pleasure of working with Steve and he killed it. Working with Steve was an absolute dream. When we started out planning, we knew that the music would be the most important factor of our wedding for us, and Steve exceeded our expectations with the most incredible DJ set for our wedding reception.
